Q. Where can I find the geographic segmentation of a company's business?

  May 20, 2019

There are three methods for finding geographic segmentation using Pardee Library's resources:

  1. Mergent Online: first, search for your desired company. Then go to the Company Details tab and click Business Segments to see the Geographic Analysis segmentation.
  2. Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS): Go to COMPUSTAT, then click on North America. Once you are in the dataset, click Segments (Non-Historical).
  3. Bloomberg: Type the ticker symbol of your desired company, press Equity, type FA, and then press GO. Then click on 6) Segments to see By Geography company figures. Please see the Equities Bloomberg tutorial for any further assistance.
