There are two BU databases that provide VC data:
CB Insights is a BU Library database that tracks global venture capital, angel investments, private equity, and IPO activity related to private companies. CB Insights must be accessed from the BU campus, or using the BU VPN if students are studying remotely.
Pitchbook is a Questrom database that provides data, research and technology covering private
capital markets, including venture capital, private equity and M&A transactions. For more information on how BU students can access Pitchbook, please contact the Pardee Reference Staff (pardstf@bu.edu).
